Ford Gum & Machine Co. ‘chews’ ATEI
 
94-year-old Ford Gum & Machine Company, leading U.S. manufacturers of retail confectionery and gift products, private label gum and mints, bulk vending confections and toys, have decided the time is right to make their ATEI debut at the 2008 show.
 
On his company’s first appearance at ATEI, spokesperson George Stege noted: “It is crucial for Ford Gum & Machine Co. to exhibit at ATEI 2008: the show is one of the few that attracts bulk vendors from throughout Europe and the world. Over the last twelve months, we have enjoyed growing interest, particularly from Europe, for our bulk vending products. Mix that with the current favourable exchange rate against the US Dollar that our European customers currently enjoy and you have two concrete reasons for exhibiting at the London Show.”
 
The New York and Illinois-based company will show its vast bulk gum and candy line, including the massively popular Carousel range, at ATEI, alongside bulk vending machines and novelty items.
