Betson, the coin-op industry distributing giant and Raw Thrills, the new
coin-op game development company headed by industry veteran Eugene Jarvis,
successfully launched Raw Thrills’ first coin-op video game project,
Target: Terror to rave reviews at the recent ASI Show in Las Vegas. on April 1,
2004. Partnered with digital
software giant Storefront.com, the digital photo vending kiosk is a turnkey
system ready for any entrepreneur.
Reflecting on the positive response at
ASI for Target: Terror, Betson President Bob Geschine stated that
“operators and distributors who attended ASI were very enthused to see an
exciting new coin-op product from a proven game designer like Eugene
Jarvis. Most people who have been around this industry for a while have
experienced great returns on the coin-op products that Eugene has designed and
early indications are that Target: Terror will be no
exception.”
In order to maximize the marketability of Target:
Terror for the widest variety of coin-op venues, Raw Thrills also announced
several new operator settings that will be included in the game software within
the red sticker mode. These software adjustments will allow the amusement
operator to “dial in” the most appropriate video content for Target:
Terror, according to the requirements of each coin-op location.
Additionally, a yellow sticker version of Target: Terror will be accessible by
the operator within the game software, which should ensure that most coin-op
venues can be considered for this exciting new game.
Beginning in April, Target Terror will be available
for sale in both 27” and 39” cabinet configurations from the leading
coin-op amusement distributors within the U.S., as well as in most foreign
countries. For further information please contact your local coin-op
distributor or call Betson’s headquarters at 800-524-2343, ext. 319 for a
complete list. |
