It is used with hand held computers to collect the data via infrared transmission. Then, the information is transferred to an Excel spreadsheet on your computer for storage and analysis.

The PROFIT-POD™ system replaces up to 3 mechanical meters or counters. It can be used with ground pulse triggers or with +5-12vdc triggers.  Once wired, the system will display the counts for the 3 meters for 2 seconds each.  Each count has its own picture on the LCD for easy identification:  one for coins, one for dollar bills and one for tickets/prizes.  When one of the inputs is closed, (ex: a coin is inserted) an LED will light on the POD and the count for that meter will be incremented. 

  When you are doing your daily, weekly or monthly collection, simply point the hand held computer at the PROFIT-POD™ and select the PROFIT-POD™ icon from the menu, and it will collect the data from the PROFIT-POD™. After receiving the data, move on to the next machine and so on until you are finished.  After you have collected data from all of your machines on your route or arcade, you put the hand held computer into its cradle and the data will be transferred onto your computer in a format that can be opened with an Excel spreadsheet. 

Each POD has an electronic serial number and a 3 character location identification that is programmed into the unit.
