SCHAUMBURG, IL – TLC Industries, Inc. (
http://www.tlcind.com) unveils the XAP-1, the first coin-op industry implementation of technology licensed from the Elumens corporation. The XAP-1, Experimental Arcade Project 1, from TLC Industries’ research and development lab is on display at ASI, booth #139, March 3-5 in Chicago.

“We have always been an industry leader with creating great concepts and pioneering cutting edge technology,” Says Ed Bender, President of TLC Industries. “This platform, while an experimental project is fully functional and fills a niche in the coin-op market between the “Deluxe” and high end motion platforms.”

The XAP-1 features a 1.5 meter dome with the game image projected inside, creating an unparalleled 3D immersive display. Initially the XAP-1 is designed to house driving and racing games such as TLC Industries’ Bandits: BattleZone and RC Cars, but the technology can also be adapted for other genres as well.
