U-Turn- Latest Product is Revolutionizing the Vending Industry

Idaho Falls, ID - The world of vending's often quoted motto “Work smarter not harder” is epitomized with U-Turn Vending's newest product, the Goliath. While the U-Turn Corporation has always been on the cutting edge of the vending industry, the release of the Goliath shows they are still top dog for their product development and innovative ideas.

The Goliath is a freestanding bulk candy vending machine that offers an unparalleled twelve selections and only takes up approximately 1.5 sq. feet of floor space, and has the capacity to hold up to 80lbs. of candy, nuts, or gumballs and stands only 60 in. tall.

Not only are the product selections and space saving features ground breaking, the folks at U-Turn live up to their quality reputation by constructing this machine from the most durable and practical materials possible. The base, body, and pole are made from 10 and 14 gauge cold rolled steel. The twelve canisters are constructed of high impact polystyrene. The coin mechanisms themselves are made of M-90 Celcon (Delrin) and are equipped with a fall through mechanism that keeps odd coins (nickels, pennies, dimes) and eliminates jams. The lids on the machines are gasketed to preserve freshness and prevent spillovers from one segment to another. The chute doors are even spring loaded to prevent spilling at time of vend.

And as with all U-Turn products they provide several features to track income and product consumption, one of those being a separate coin box for each of the twelve coin mechanisms on the Goliath to provide a simple way to service individual product selections and a clear way to track money by product sales. In addition they also provide what they call “bindicators” which are numbered inventory control lines in each canister so you know exactly how much product has been vended. U-Turn also supplies a candy adjuster with in the candy tumbler assembly, which allows you to adjust to amount of product that is vended per exchange and also enables a greater variety of products to be sold as well.

Another great selling point that the U-Turn group can boast about the Goliath as with their other four and eight selection machines is that they are all totally mechanical so there is no need for electricity, making the machine available to be located almost any place.
