American Amusement Machine Association (AAMA)AAMCF AIDS IN KATRINA RELIEF EFFORTSThe American Amusement Machine Charitable Foundation (AAMCF), along with the AAMCF Endowment Fund honorees: Raymond Galante, Jerry Gordon, Stephen Lieberman, and Chuck Milhem, have joined their respective funds to help those in need of assistance after Hurricane Katrina. The AAMCF has donated $25,000.00 of the funds, with $15,000.00 going to the Salvation Army and $10,000.00 going to the American Red Cross. This is the first step in the Association's efforts to help those who have been misplaced and devastated, and all those left to start their lives all over with nothing. The AAMCF Board of Directors also met with the AAMA Board of Directors via conference call on Friday, September 9, 2005 to discuss what route should be taken in long term relief assistance, specifically for those within our industry. It was decided that the AAMA Board would spearhead those efforts. Both the AAMCF and AAMA Boards of Directors, on behalf of the membership, send prayers out to everyone affected by this national tragedy. |
