AAMA American Amusement Machine Association
THE SHOW
|
The association walked away with over 100 leads
Oxford Publishing managed to execute yet another successful Nightclub and Bar show, using Las Vegas as its backdrop. “The Show” held in Las Vegas March 5-8 is the largest beverage and food event in the Western Hemisphere and included the Las Vegas International Restaurant Show, the Las Vegas Hospitality Expo, and Nightclub & Bar-Beverage & Food show.
Events were kicked off on Sunday, March 4th with pre-conference workshops, a power lunch and awards reception. The next 3 days were packed full of incredible programs, speakers and networking events, including a performance by Sammy Hagar adding an even bigger plug to his Cabo Tequila.
The mega-event would not be whole without amusement products. The coin-op industry was well represented through the AAMA pavilion and in its surrounding area. Bigger and better than ever, this year’s 1000 square foot pavilion included American Changer, Bay-Tek Games, Betson Enterprises, National Ticket, TouchTunes Music and Unique Billiards & Game Rooms. Other AAMA members at “The Show” included E-Cast, Incredible Technologies, JVL Corporation, Namco America, Sega, Stern Pinball, Valley-Dynamo and Wurlitzer.
The association walked away with over 100 leads from the heavy flow of traffic all 2-days of the show. Yes! The AAMA will in fact host another pavilion at the 2008 show now scheduled for late February. The Nightclub & Bar show will return to Vegas February 25-27.
Oxford Publishing Inc., producer of “The Show” in Las Vegas, has announced the launch of an international Nightclub & Bar show to be held in Mexico City in June of 2008.
Oxford is partnering in the franchise of the Nightclub & Bar brand with Expo NCB, a company formed by Francisco Aguilar, a distinguished Mexico City-based businessman and his son, Guillermo Aguilar, one of Mexico’s top marketing pros.
“We are delighted to have the opportunity to extend the Nightclub & Bar brand to this important and rapidly expanding market,” said Ed Meek, president and CEO of Oxford. “Mexico offers American companies a great opportunity for sales growth. Expo Nightclub & Bar MEXICO will be an extraordinary event attracting hospitality industry professionals from throughout Latin America.”
The Mexican-American partnership includes an agreement that Expo NCB will bring exhibitors from Latin America to Las Vegas and Oxford will host American exhibitors at the Mexico City Event.
