The association walked with over 150 Elk Grove Village, IL – Nearly 6,000 pizzeria operators from around The AAMA pavilion was happy to return to this ever-popular trade show on behalf of its members and the overall coin-op industry. The association was unable to sponsor a pavilion in 2006 due to the fact that the show coincided with the Chicago ASI show. It was apparent that the coin-op sector was not forgotten. The association walked with over 150 leads that we will distribute to our members. Those members that braved the back-to-back Pizza and ASI shows were, Bay-Tek Games, Betson, LAI Games, Namco America and OK Manufacturing. After three busy days on the show floor, AAMA members were happy to report positive results and a better understanding of what the pizza industry would like to see from the coin-op industry and its products. “I attended the International Pizza Expo five years ago, and was surprised by how much it had grown. The attendees seemed excited and the industry is growing. Besides providing an opportunity for networking, the expo also played host to Pizza Festiva a pizza recipe competition that crowns one pizza maker every year with the coveted Pizza of the Year crown. And in 2007, the IPE concluded with the giveaway of $20,000! The IPE will return to Vegas next year in the south hall of the convention center. The show will be held April 1-3. The AAMA is in talks of negotiating its location on the trade show floor, but no confirmation has been released on a set pavilion until we have finalized dates for the 2008 ASI show. As always, the AAMA will keep you up to date on the coin-op pavilion for Pizza 2008. The International Pizza Expo is owned, produced and managed by Macfadden Protech, LLC. The company publishes Pizza Today and in addition the company serves as the management arm of the National Association of Pizzeria Operators (NAPO). For more information visit them on-line at www.pizzaexpo.com. On behalf of the AAMA, we would like to thank all our member companies for their continuing support of the LTS program and for making the coin-op pavilion a success throughout the year!
