AMOA Launches Katrina Relief Program Incredible Technologies to Match Donations

South Barrington, Illinois... The Amusement & Music Operators Association has responded to the recent tragedy caused by hurricane Katrina by spearheading a long-term fundraising campaign. The devastation to families and businesses in the south is unparalleled in recent history.

AMOA has already donated $10,000 in relief funds to the American Red Cross. A call to AMOA members has asked for donations and contributions from the operating community, and the AMOA will match these funds dollar for dollar up to $20,000.

Incredible Technologies, who has already established an employee donation program of their own, applauds and admires the work that the AMOA has put into place. In the spirit of community and compassion, IT has offered to also match what the AMOA collects for relief.

“We are delighted to ‘team up’ with IT on the Katrina Relief program,” said Jack Kelleher of AMOA. “Our Executive Committee approved this unanimously and are very grateful for IT’s generous offer. Our potential for aid to those who need it so desperately could reach as much as $100,000.”

“We greatly admire and respect the swift call to action that the AMOA has put into place,” said Elaine Hodgson, CEO of Incredible Technologies. “Hurricane Katrina has devastated many families and businesses. It will take much money, time and manpower to help them rebuild their lives. It is rewarding to be a part of a community that comes together to help others in the worst of times.”
