PINK was RED HOT At The ASI Show
Apple Industries Inc., New York,“All of a sudden operators have rediscovered how attractive photo booths can be,” Even Apple Industries President Allen Weisberg agreed that the ASI Show was better than expected. “The number of operators who took the time to actually look closely at our Digital Centre New Generation Photo ID machine exceeded expectations. All of sudden we had distributors bringing over their customers to rediscover the proven photo booth concept.” LaForce attributes the strong interest in the Photo ID machine to several factors. The most important being the overall compact dimensions that have opened up new locations like never before. The Digital Centre New Generation Photo ID is only 28 inches wide and 39 inches long, and at 400 pounds it is now a viable nightclub and bar piece. The unit offers both color and black and white photo strips, plus it always gives double sets of prints. “In addition,” explained LaForce, “our newest installable program, called Fashion ID, which we introduced at the ASI, now gives the operators three popular programs to offer their locations.” The traditional Photo ID program offers standard strip photos, the Photo Fun program offers various backgrounds and borders, and the new Fashion ID program offers faces on all kinds of humorous hair styles. As if that is not enough we showed our newest cabinet color PINK. Thinking PINK turned out to be Red HOT at the ASI show. Operators love the new color. The New Generation Photo ID is available in our popular Brown and Blue colors as well as the new PINK color. Weisberg promises to crank up delivery of the New Generation Photo ID machine. “It’s an enviable position to be in,” he explained, “but fulfilling orders is priority number 1.” So far the wait has been tolerable and will decrease with Apple’s ramped-up roll-out.
