For Apple’s Popular Digital Center’s New Generation Photo ID Machine Beginning with their July production, Apple Industries, Inc., New York, will be Apple will also be changing the interior fluorescent lightning system to a system of LED strip lighting. According to Apple, the new lighting system not only improves depth perception of the end product, but virtually eliminates having to go out on service call, or any the loss of business simply because a light bulb burned out. “LED lights last a long, long time,” explains Sales Director Mel LaForce, “this will be a terrific improvement in servicing our “New Generation Photo ID” machine.” Finally, Apple will now automatically include its very popular Fashion ID program – whereby customers put their faces onto more than 30 different hair styles – into the software of every machine it ships. “This is the result of demand,” states Apple’s President Allen Weisberg. “We used to offer this as an option, but most operators wanted the Fashion ID program, so we believe that including this program with our basic other two programs will make ordering our unit more efficient, easier and will eliminate any programming omissions. The Digital Center New Generation Photo ID machine will include Photo ID, the basic black and white or color strip photos, Photo Fun, with a large selection of borders and backgrounds, and now Fashion ID, with different hair styles. Cabinet colors are still offered in brown, blue and pink. “Pink is still our most popular color,” jokes LaForce. “I guess locations feel that pink makes the machine stand out more and encourages women to drag their male counterparts into the Photo Booth.” President Allen Weisberg explained that these current improvements will not affect the current distributor or retail pricing of the Digital Center “New Generation Photo ID” machine.
