The event was co-sponsored by Shaffer Distributing Co. out of Indianapolis Players met at the Ramada Inn in Indianapolis, IN, for a $9,000 Qualifier to the BullShooter Finals, May 24-28, 2007. Eleven events were played with first through third place qualifying to the $120,000 Finals. Warm-up blind draw events were played on Friday, and the main events started Saturday morning. The event was co-sponsored by Shaffer Distributing Co. out of Indianapolis and sponsored by Arachnid, Inc. The competition was tough with top players from the Midwest like Big Dog, Larry Butler and Glen Gage competing in exciting matches in the Pro events. Larry Butler teamed up with Tim Nicoll and took both Pro Doubles and Pro/Am Cricket, and Tim captured Men’s Cricket Singles. Glen Gage defeated Big Dog in the Pro Cricket Singles leaving Big Dog second. But Big Dog teamed up with Missy Arredondo and defeated Glen and Mary Ferguson in Mixed Cricket leaving Glen and Mary second. Big Dog, Missy and Peter Arredondo also took second in Mixed Triples after being defeated by Chris Horton, Bill Hockenbury and Renee Durant who took the championship. Mary and Missy teamed up in Women’s Doubles Combo for another first place trophy and Mary took the Women’s Singles event after defeating Crystal Abbiehl in the championship match. BullShooter XXII!
