Cabrio Patch Kids
Kidmann are hoping to drive up sales with the right formula at ATEI 2007. The company, located in northern Poland, will exhibit the third generation of their head-turning fleet of kiddie rides at the London Show. Building on the success of the company’s Formula 1 and Jeep models, Kidmann’s ‘Cabrio’ is set to make its way to Earls Court’s showroom floor in late January. The Cabrio, described by Kidmann as ‘more cost-efficient, better looking and with better earning potential’ than its predecessors, can be designed and built upon demand, using any graphics or sounds supplied by the customer. The Poles, who are ‘looking for serious partners to sell their products’ will also be exhibiting two new kiddie rides currently under construction: ‘KidCruiser’, a two metre long, two-seater boat and ‘KidCar, a two and a half metre long, two-seater car. StreamTech putting casinos in the picture
StreamTech Gaming are promising to ‘mark a significant breakthrough in land-based casino gaming technology’ as they unveil their signature Live Gaming Platform at the ICE exhibition later this month. StreamTech’s embedded and proprietary streaming IPTV technology delivers crystal clear live video and audio, enabling casino owners/managers to extend the excitement of their gaming tables to the worldwide player, live via the web or directly to kiosks across the casino gaming floor/multi-location environments. Rebecca Zur, vice president of marketing at StreamTech Gaming, confirmed: “Casino patrons want the casino brands they recognise, a method of play they can trust, and the high quality gaming experience to which they're accustomed. Any solution that is less than TV quality broadcast will never convince the real gambler to play online.” StreamTech CEO, Eran Tobul added: “By land-based casinos opening up their gaming floor to remote players across the world, there’s an unprecedented opportunity for the casino to enhance and broaden casino-player possibilities and dramatically increase its yearly revenue. Playing on my favourite roulette table in Monaco, while my wife in London plays on her PC looking at the same gaming table, is just beyond belief.” StreamTech Gaming will be exhibiting at ICE 2007 on Stand 3605. What is your definition of leadership?
A leader is one who knows how to get the best out of a workforce, providing constant motivation.
What is the most important business lesson you could impart?
I am a lawyer and my lesson is to lobby professionals in different fields.
What influenced you to choose this career?
I like challenges. The gambling sector is considered one of the worst in my country, so, above all, it is a daily social struggle requiring special attention to bring about public acceptance for a fair and controlled trade.
How do you motivate your workforce?
I motivate my workforce by giving each of them an important piece of responsibility and also giving them enough freedom to make decisions in their fields of action.
Who’s the most important person in your organisation?
Everyone in the Spanish Casino Association is important, everyone has a specific function.
How would you describe your leadership style?
Basically, my leadership style is concentrated in two aspects; organisation and giving the workforce confidence to make decisions under each core competency.
Have you ever seriously considered a career change?
I am always open to new challenges.
How do you measure whether a meeting has been successful?
A meeting is successful when, at least, it is possible to find a departure point to make progress in the prevailing issue.
How is your industry changing?
Things have changed in the gambling sector over the last four years. There is a recovery in the Spanish sector with eight new casinos opening in the last 2 years, with an increase of reported accounts by 10 per cent since 2005. There is an authentic gambling explosion, with new gambling categories to play traditional games. Traditional gambling models are overflowing.
How do you relax?
I participate in a wide variety of sports.
