Billiard Congress of America New Events/Show Enhancements Announced for this Year's Expo

Held Thursday, June 21 through Saturday, June 23, 2007, at the Sands Expo and Convention Center in Las Vegas

With a dedication to creating a successful and entertaining show for all attendees at the International Billiard and Home Recreation Expo, the Billiard Congress of America today unveiled a slate of new events and high-tech enhancements for the 2007 show.

Held Thursday, June 21 through Saturday, June 23, 2007, at the Sands Expo and Convention Center in Las Vegas, the BCA's International Billiard and Home Recreation Trade Show will highlight innovation in billiards, including pool tables and supplies for home recreation use as well as commercial billiard enterprises.

"After conducting more than 300 BCA member interviews, we've worked to strategically add events and on-site enhancements that our membership desires," said BCA CEO Rob Johnson. "We want our show attendees to have a successful event from a business perspective, but we also want them to enjoy their stay in Las Vegas. The selection of events and show enhancements we've added will contribute to both goals. And, from early indications, the return of the show to Las Vegas plus the addition of these events is paying dividends, as we're seeing increases in many key areas including new exhibitors, returning exhibitors, registered buyers and overall attendee registration."

Special Events/Enhancements Include:

First Annual BCA Expo Golf Outing
Wednesday, June 20, 8 a.m. Shotgun Start
Located at Stallion Mountain Country Club, the golf outing will bring together attendees and exhibitors for a morning of golfing and networking in beautiful surroundings.

Understanding the Consumer Market
Thursday, June 21, 8:45 a.m.
Attendees will learn what the consumer is truly looking for when the results of the study are announced at this free seminar. This study is the first comprehensive consumer and general public study about consumer attitudes in regards to billiards, billiards products and their purchase plans for 2007.

A complimentary continental breakfast will be available to all attendees prior to the presentation of Understanding the Consumer Market.

Keynote Address: Strategic Marketing in Anxious Times
Friday, June 22, 9 a.m.
Clyde Fessler, the former Vice President of Business Development for Harley-Davidson Motor Company, will share the story of Harley-Davidson's turnaround from near bankruptcy to one of the top performing corporations on the New York Stock Exchange. Fessler motivates and inspires businesses to create strategic plans that will help them see growth even during difficult financial times. The Keynote Address is complimentary for all registered BCA Expo attendees and exhibitors.

A complimentary continental breakfast will be available to all attendees prior to the Keynote Address.

State of the Industry CEO Roundtable
Friday, June 22, 10 a.m.
Immediately following the Keynote Address, hear from a panel of billiards industry leaders, who will head an interactive discussion about the issues, trends, threats and opportunities ahead for the billiards industry in 2007 and beyond.

The Commodores
Thursday, June 21, 8 p.m., The Beach at Mandalay Bay
Motown's famous Commodores will entertain at BCA Expo's first ever live concert and party, which will be held at The Beach at Mandalay Bay. Join attendees, exhibitors and association representatives for a fun evening of food, drink and dancing.

Everyone who attends the concert will receive one complimentary drink, courtesy of the BCA. Cash bar and food will also be available, as well as transportation from the Riviera, Venetian and Treasure Island hotels.

WiFi
The Convention Center will feature free WiFi throughout. Connection to the Internet will be available anywhere on the show floor.

Internet Cafe
The BCA booth will feature on Internet Cafe. Attendees are invited to stop by the BCA booth and connect to the Internet for free!
