Bay Tek Games and Extreme Makeover: Home Edition make a difference

Pulaski, WI - The Bay Tek Games Family knows how important it is to give back to it's community and others in need. That is why they have redesigned and donated the shooting mechanism from their popular shooting games, Horse Play and Sky Masters, to the "dream makers" of Extreme Makeover: Home Edition!

Earlier this fall the Bay Tek Games family was contacted by the ever popular television show and was told about a family in need and a little boy whom wanted a shooting mechanism mounted to his bed. Bay Tek Games took on the challenge and re-engineered the shooting device to allow it to be fit for household use.

No matter how much this little boy may love to play games, the Bay Tek device was not intended for the home market. Horse Play and Sky Masters are powered by an air compressor and shoot hard, rubber balls at heavy duty targets, nothing fit for a little boys' room.

The engineers immediately went to work on the transformation and took the housing from the pneumatic powered Horse Play and Sky Masters gun cannon and converted it to a hand powered ping pong ball shooter.

"It took some time coming up with the right model, but we had a lot of fun doing it!" states Manufacturing Engineer Kurt Nowakowski," I just hope the family has as much fun with it as we did!"

"Extreme Makeover: Home Edition," which has won back-to-back Emmy Awards as Best Reality Program (non-competitive), will enter its 4th season on ABC. The program is produced by Endemol USA, a division of Endemol Holding. Denise Cramsey is the executive producer; and David Goldberg is the president of Endemol USA.
