Bob’s humor and enthusiasm were probably his greatest assets. Pulaski, WI.- Robert C. Ward passed away on Thursday, December 14, 2006 at a local Green Bay hospital. Bob was one of the four original partners in Bay Tek Games. He was the money man and the funny man. Originally from El Paso, TX, Bob found his way up north and graduated from the Madison School of Banking and then served his country in the United States Air Force. His financial experience was a key part of the early days of Bay Tek and helped set the foundation of the almost 30 year old company. He helped Bay Tek see the value in being conservative with their resources. In his banking experience he had seen way too many companies like Bay Tek fail because they simply ran out of money. “Bob’s humor and enthusiasm were probably his greatest assets. Bob kept us from killing each other during late night work sessions that were so much a part of the early years. I personally learned a lot from Bob, not the least of which was his attitude of “If we can’t make it fun, I ain’t doing it!””, comments Larry Treankler, CEO of Bay Tek Games. The Bay Tek Games family extends their deepest sympathies to Bob’s family.2006-12-21 |
