? Event Review:
Last event (China Vending Show 2006) was successfully held on July 20-22, 2006 at Shanghai Mart in Shanghai, P. R. China, which was sponsored by All-China Federation of Industry & Commerce, China Tongyuan Corp., and Shanghai Gehua Exhibition Service Co., Ltd., and undertaken by Shanghai Tiansheng Exhibition Service Co., Ltd. and Shanghai Highlights Business Management Consulting Co., Ltd. What’s more, it obtained for the first time great supports from The Worldwide Vending Association (WVA), National Automatic Merchandising Association (NAMA), The European Vending Association (EVA), and Japan Vending Machine Manufacturers Association (JVMA).

This event consisted of two major parts: vending show and summit conference, covering every link of the vending industry.

The First China International Vending Summit 2006 had obtained great support from four major vending associations: The Worldwide Vending Association (WVA), National Automatic Merchandising Association (NAMA), The European Vending Association (EVA), and Japan Vending Machine Manufacturers Association (JVMA). Five keynote seminars in all were held, focusing on the issues concerned by the global vending industry, including: the development trends of the worldwide vending industry, the status quo and development of the Chinese vending industry, the cooperation modes between China vending industry and the world, as well as

solutions to the problems of localization of vending machinery in China, etc. Top leaders from NAMA, WVA, and JVMA delivered remarkable keynote speeches and made the conference to achieve unparalleled success and gained a great echo effect in the Chinese vending industry.

The vending show attracted renowned enterprises from 11 countries and areas to exhibit. On the basis of successful experience of last two events, this exhibition had been greatly elevated on the international level. The exhibit brands included: ASTROSYS, AUCMA, BAIXUE, BIANCHI, COINCO, DONGJU, FUJI BINGSHAN, GUARD, HAPPYLINE, ICT, KIMMA, L.VENDING, NECTA, MEI & CONLUX, NW, PANASONIC, VESIEL, VTI, SINGGU, S.M COIN, etc. In addition, Coca-Cola, Pepsi, Nestlé, President, Danone, Shanghai Metro Operation Corp., China Post, China Unionpay, Hotel Chain Institutions and the like have assigned representatives to attend the show. Japanese delegation, Italian delegation, and vending operators and distributors from USA, Canada, U.K., Germany, Spain, Turkey, Australia, Middle East, South Korea, Singapore and China Taiwan, Hong Kong and Macao, among other countries and areas, came to the show for purchasing, networking and market survey.

This event was only opened to professional visitors. During the three days’ exhibition, about 7,160 visitors, including 4,100 overseas visitors, 630 persons from vending machine manufacturers, 330 persons from parts and accessories suppliers, 380 from food and beverage suppliers, 160 from import and export companies, 490 from domestic trading companies, 92 from scientific research institutes, 60 from governmental authorities, and 980 from other relevant industries attended the show and conference. The three days’ exhibition and conference won a big success. All exhibitors were satisfied with the exhibiting result, and all samples and promotional materials at their booths had been sent out to visitors. About 98% exhibitors confirmed that they would continue participating in the vending show next year.

? Exhibition Objective:

? Seminars:
Seminar is one of the best approaches to publicize your company’s image and promote your products during the show time. Each seminar is limited within 2 hours and charged USD800.00 yuan. Please send the synopsis of seminar contents to the Organizer before March 31, 2007. The Organizer will make preparation for conference room, audio & video equipment, soft drinks and organization of audience in advance.

  • Comprehensive vending machines for cold & hot drinks, snacks, ice creams, and coffee; vending machines for medicines, condoms, cigarettes, CD/DVD, and newspapers; e-commerce vending machines; integrated automatic merchandising shops; automatic systems for selling cards and tickets, IC card and cashless vending systems;
  • Coin mechanisms, currency accepters/rejectors, bill validators, currency/coin changers, currency/coin counting and sorting, etc.;
  • ATM banking systems, self-service POS devices; touch-screen inquiry equipment, self-service digital camera systems, coin-operated water dispensers, laundry machines, amusement and game machines (non-gambling); song selectors, fitness equipment, mobile chargers and public facilities;
  • Parts and components, and relevant accessories of vending and self-service machines;
  • Vending beverage and food suppliers; confectionery, coffee and tea suppliers;
  • Vending operators, cleaning, transportation and handling services, financing and leasing, consulting and education/training; related press media, publications and websites.

  • 9 m2 Standard Booth:

Charge for foreign-invested or overseas enterprises: USD2500.00/Booth/Expo
Each standard booth consists of 3-sided partitions, fascia board with China Vending Show, 1 desk and 2 chairs, 2 spotlights, 1 220V/5A power socket, fully floored carpet, 24-hour cleaning and security.
Note: A 20% surcharge will be levied for reservation of a booth with 2 facades.

  • Indoor Raw Space:

Charge for foreign-invested or overseas enterprises: USD250.00/sq.m/Expo
Note: Each raw space shall be rented with minimum 36 sq.m., only a show space without supply of any facilities. Please contact the Organizer for special booth design and construction in advance.

  • Exhibition Service Fee: Each attendee is charged USD100.00 for exhibition material, exhibitor’s badge, lunches, drinks and souvenirs, etc.

? Participation Procedures:

  • Those enterprises or individuals who intend to participate in the exhibition should first fill out the Application Form and sign the Contract (See Appendix 1). The contents filled into the Application Form will be published in the Show Catalogue, so a typewritten copy or clear handwritten script in Chinese and English should be provided. Meanwhile, the duplicated copy of business license (If the above-mentioned certificates are made false, the participation qualification shall be cancelled.) and booth choice (enclosed with the Floor Plan) should be submitted by mail or fax to the Organizer.

 

  • Please make the participation fees payable in full or 50% as deposit by telegraphic transfer or in person to the Organizer within one week after application. The balance of the payment shall be settled before March 31, 2007. The allocation of booths is based on the principle of “first-come-first-served” in terms of application and payment date.
  • Upon payment of all the fees, exhibitors are required to fax the note of bank transfer to the Organizer.
  • After receiving the booth rental, the Organizer will send a copy of Exhibitor’s Manual to the exhibitor one month before the opening of the exhibition.

? Regulations:

  • Foreign holding enterprises with foreign-funded capital exceeding 50% of total investment must exhibit in the International Show Area;
  • The exhibits displayed by the Chinese exhibitors must be Chinese brands and made in China.
  • The Chinese exhibitors who make products distribution for foreign companies shall not exhibit the products of foreign companies in the Domestic Show Area.
  • The China Vending Show presented in the booth must be the same with that filled in the Application Form. Those companies who come from foreign countries and from Hong Kong, Macao and Taiwan are not permitted to exhibit in the Domestic Show Area. No names, logos and products of foreign companies and those of Hong Kong, Macao and Taiwan are permitted to appear in the booths of the Domestic Show Area.
  • Product names used for exhibits and in promotional materials must conform to the State standardization stipulations. Exhibitors should respect intellectual property right and are not allowed to exhibit counterfeited products, nor use the unauthorized names.
  • In order to ensure the exhibiting level and good order on the spot, booths are not allowed to be relet, sublet, nor transferred. Fascia board and wall panels of a standard booth shall not be dismantled and remolded randomly, otherwise the exhibitor shall be liable for the costs incurred.
  • If exhibitors violate the above-mentioned regulations, the Organizer will take the following proceedings: those who ought to exhibit in the International Show Area should complete the balance of payment in accordance with the charge standard for overseas exhibitors, otherwise no power shall be provided and their exhibition shall be terminated. Those who violate exhibition regulations shall be deprived of their participation qualification, and no participation fees shall be refunded. Power supply to the booth shall be cut off, and exhibits and promotional materials, etc. shall be removed out of the exhibition floor.
  • The Organizer shall be entitled to make certain modification and adjustment to the layout of Floor Plan according to the sales of booths/show spaces.
