It is more important than ever to create dynamic events for customers “In today’s world it is more important than ever to create dynamic events for customers,” says
Heather Hills, Meetings and Events Director for
CoinOp Sports. “For coin-op games to thrive again
we have to shift the emphasis from just placing
games to providing entertainment.”
About 40-50 people attended the CoinOp Sports “Recapturing Lost Revenue” seminar held Thursday, Jan. 25 at AVS’s Chicago office. While most operators were from the Chicagoland area, others traveled from as far away as Rockford, Milwaukee, Springfield, IL even parts of Iowa. Additionally, representatives from Valley Dynamo, Incredible Technologies, Arachnid, Merit Entertainment, Tsunami, Stern, SEGA, NAMCO, and FacePlace also attended the presentation. CoinOp Sports’s presentation included an overview of the benefits operators as well as locations
can enjoy from running promotional events,
leagues and tournaments.
The CoinOp Sports “Cashbox Coaches” also presented an overview of location-specific benefits from promotions, leagues and tournaments and how operators can help communicate those to their location owners. Additionally, CoinOp Sports presented the services CoinOp Sports offers, including Staff Training sessions for operator and location staff, in-service presentations for individual machines, and the CoinOp Sports Help Desk.
