SAN FRANCISCO, CA - 10/12/2005 -- Manufacturers of Ecast digital jukeboxes have completed their "Dash to 1000" sales promotion, nearly three months ahead of the designated deadline, shattering expectations. "It was a great success. We exceeded our quota of 1,000 jukes and now we must cap it," said John Taylor, Interim CEO of Ecast. "As a sign of good faith we are allowing operators until Friday, October 21st to get their pending orders in, but now it's time for operators to focus on deploying these new units so they can earn their revenue credits." The "Dash to 1000" fund was first introduced at the Amusement Machine Operators Association convention last month. The fund, which applied to all Ecast manufacturers including NSM, Rock-Ola and View, provided jukebox subsidies to operators who deployed ten or more Ecast-powered jukeboxes between Sept. 14 and Dec. 31, 2005. "It's a great feeling to know we could provide a product and program that the industry had been asking for," stated Steven Kellam, Ecast Director of Sales. At the AMOA show, manufacturers reported a surge in jukebox order commitments, totaling nearly 800 units. In the three days of the trade show, Ecast received 600 signed order commitments and an additional 200 verbal orders were processed in the days after the show.
