New features, designed to improve efficiency and save time SAN FRANCISCO, CA – Ecast, the leading provider of digital-downloading, broadband-enabled jukeboxes, introduced the operator community to its new and improved Ecast Central (www.ecastcentral.com) operator web portal at the 2006 ASI show in Chicago.
In addition to providing Ecast Operator Partners with a suite of business management tools, Ecast Central now provides anyone in the coin-op industry with updated news and information about the Ecast network on the main splash page – no password needed.
New features, designed to improve efficiency and save time, include: • ONLINE BROADBAND ORDER ENTRY – Qualify your locations for broadband online! You can now determine if your prospective Ecast locations qualify for broadband and place connectivity orders directly from Ecast Central. Using the new Ecast Central tools, you can place an order for internet connectivity in a new location by filling out venue details in the provided online form. You can choose to either be contacted with the results of the request (available Internet Service Providers etc) or elect to have Ecast proceed with installation if your location qualifies for broadband. Requests will be processed within 24 hours (Monday through Friday). This online Ecast Central service augments the role played by Ecast’s Installation Coordination support team, who will continue to handle requests that are phoned or faxed in to Ecast. • ADDED EMPLOYEE SECURITY SETTINGS – Give your employees the virtual keys! Ecast Central now enables you to delegate certain responsibilities by defining different user roles for employees, while ensuring that they only have access to the settings and reports appropriate for their position. * Operator Level – Access to all of Ecast Central functions and reports * Tech Level – Access to music, usage and configuration settings but no access to financial information * Music Level - Access to music and usage only but no access to configuration or revenue information * Finance Level - Access to revenue and usage only. • 1 CLICK ALBUM ADDITION FROM POPULARITY REPORTS – Just click to add an album to one juke or your entire route directly from the music popularity reports on Ecast Central. For example, if you are reviewing the most popular album or song in a specific location, you can now choose to add the album to that location’s hard drive directly without viewing a new screen. You also now have access to music reports for the entire Ecast network, so you can add the country’s most popular albums to your route or locations with one click. • NEW GENRE POPULARITY REPORTS – Customize your jukes! You can now review the most popular albums by Genre (Alternative & Punk / Latin etc) and/or Minor Genre (New Wave / Salsa) for a specific location, your entire route, or the entire Ecast network, and then add any albums you find right from one bar or all of them directly from the report page. • COMING SOON – EMAIL NOTIFICATIONS – In the near future, you will be able to be notified via email when a jukebox has not “checked in” to the Ecast servers – and you determine the length of time that passes before your notification. You will also be able to set criteria for specific locations or your whole route. (ASI 2006) – March 16, 2006 – |
