ECAST PARTNERS CELEBRATE TREMENDOUS Q1 2006 SUCCESSES
|
Over $2 Million in Free Jukeboxes and Kits Awarded During “Get One Free” Promo
SAN FRANCISCO, CA – Ecast, the leading provider of digital-downloading, broadband-enabled jukeboxes, is proud to announce the conclusion of its highly successful Q1 2006 “Get One Free” jukebox promotion. The sales initiative (which ran from January 1 through March 31, 2006) was designed to help operators expand their routes quickly and affordably. During the campaign, operators who purchased jukeboxes or kits received free units from NSM, Rock-Ola and View.
“This was Ecast’s most successful sales promotion ever, with over 170 operators from across the country participating and over 1500 jukeboxes shipped by our partners”, noted Bob Cooney, Vice President of Manufacturing Business Development at Ecast. “One hundred new operators signed on with Ecast through the promotion, which benefited large and small operators. Some customers purchased 50 conversion kits for the cost of 25, but many others signed on for the first time, buying their first digital jukeboxes and
conversion kits.
“Ecast put our money where our mouth is by contributing over $2 million worth of free jukeboxes during this promotion”, Cooney continued. “Ecast and its investors firmly believe that by combining these types of promotions with our industry-leading earnings and vast selection of hardware from our partners, we can make it an easy decision for jukebox operators to join with Ecast”.
“This was a great way to jump start 2006”, noted John Schultz, President of Rock-Ola Manufacturing Corp. “The promo allowed a lot of people to participate and it convinced folks that had not done digital to finally join up with Ecast. The promo brought the price of a Rock-Star jukebox with a 900 Watt Peavey amp down to $3600. It was not directed just for customers who could put out a lot of units like past Ecast promotions – it really created an opportunity for everyone to get on the Ecast platform. We had
one operator purchase 100 units, and we saw a ton of repeat sales, so obviously it was meaningful to operators”.
“The promo definitely has us working overtime to keep up with the orders”, observed Tony Lantz,
Vice President of Operations for NSM Music. “The response to our Evolution conversion kit has been fantastic. With the Ecast promotion, you could upgrade an old NSM box to an almost entirely brand new Ecast powered digital for $1750. With Ecast jukes averaging nearly $300 a week, there is no better value for the coin-op operator today.”
“The Get One Free promotion was very successful for View across the board”, said Rick Caviglia, President of View Manufacturing. “Hundreds of free View kits were awarded, spanning conversions for A, C, E, Eagle and 2nd Generation Wall-box units. This was an exciting and affordable way for operators to turn their CD jukeboxes into Ecast broadband money-makers.”
