ECAST ADDS TO INDIE MUSIC LIBRARY BY SIGNING SANCTUARY GROUP, CURB, FREDDIE AND SADDLE CREEK

Innovative Digital Jukebox Network Continues to Seek and Build Its Indie Label and Artist Collection

SAN FRANCISCO, Oct. 17, 2006 -Ecast, Inc., the leading interactive media company operating the largest network of broadband-enabled jukeboxes, has signed a licensing agreement with four Independent music labels - Sanctuary Group, Curb, Freddie and Saddle Creek.

These labels provide an array of music genres - alternative/Indie rock, reggae, ska, country, Latin and punk - to Ecast's digital jukebox network.

As part of its ongoing efforts to expand its catalog and provide fans with music they want to hear, Ecast has signed the following labels: Sanctuary Group, providing a collection of labels including Rough Trade, Drive Thru, Attack, Trojan, Castle and others; legendary Nashville Indie label Curb, which will provide tracks from artists including Tim McGraw, Steve Holy, Leann Rimes as well as an expansive back catalog of country favorites; Regional Mexican specialist Freddie Records, which will provide the music of Ramon Ayala; and Saddle Creek, providing music from its founding band, Bright Eyes.

"The music promotional aspect of the Ecast network is in lock-step with how we believe in promoting Indie artists - in a grassroots way through bars and clubs," said Eleanor Blattel, head of new media and digital business development for the Sanctuary Group. "Ecast targets fans of Indie music and enables them to learn more about the artists and more importantly, enables them to easily navigate the network and find their favorite music."

"As part of Ecast's ongoing music discovery efforts, we are constantly seeking new labels and artists to build our music collection," said Paul Koehler, label relations manager, Ecast. "Independent artists are more relevant and accessible to a mainstream audience today than they ever have been, and we provide them with a unique, out-of-home venue that recognizes their independence and creativity and directly reaches their fans."
