ECAST, INC.

ECAST HIRES MARKETING COMMUNICATIONS MANAGER TO MEET NEEDS OF GROWING COIN-OP CHANNEL

Operators are increasingly taking notice of how ECAST broadband innovation makes for a jukebox with compelling bottom line results.

SAN FRANCISCO, CA - Among the many new faces hired in the past six weeks at ECAST, the nation's largest digital broadband jukebox network, most notable is the addition of marketing communications manager Suzanne Maineri to support the coin operations channel. The decision to bring on board Maineri, a 15-year marketing professional, reflects ECAST's commitment to its operator channel as the company continues to expand its broadband music network.

"Operators are increasingly taking notice of how ECAST broadband innovation makes for a jukebox with compelling bottom line results. As we continue to add more exciting features like Hot Hits, advertising, video and recommendations, the importance of effectively communicating these benefits to our operators increases dramatically," said Craig Stokes, product marketing manager, ECAST. "With the addition of Suzanne to the team, we have the ideal person to not only drive awareness, but help operators realize the ever-expanding potential that an ECAST-powered jukebox brings to their route."

In her role, Maineri will be responsible for the wide range of communications and programs that drive coin op sales and support the extensive ECAST operator community. She will drive the build out of ECAST Central, the operator resource site. In addition to managing press relations, Maineri will also assist ECAST sales and operations communicate news about feature updates, promotions, best practices and all else related, ultimately, to helping operators maximize their ECAST-powered jukebox revenue.

To the position at ECAST, Maineri brings a solid background in promoting visionary products and companies, particularly video and broadband applications. She spent instrumental years managing marketing communications for Virage (now Autonomy), a pioneer in interactive streaming video, and at Abekas, the standard in broadECAST video effects hardware and software. More recently, she was with Biz360, a start up and leader in automated media analysis.
