ECAST HOLIDAY “HOT HITS” HELP BOOST OPERATORS’ SEASONAL REVENUE

“Holiday Classics” and “Not So Silent Night”

SAN FRANCISCO, CA –  Ecast has released the latest collection of playlists in its Hot Hits on-demand music recommendation feature. The Holiday Hot Hits features two collections of seasonal favorites designed to please all patrons, spirited and humbugs alike. A festive attract loop will engage users to explore the new categories.

Both collections, “Holiday Classics” and “Not So Silent Night” were automatically loaded onto all Ecast-powered jukes last Wednesday and will run through the first of the new year. The carefully selected collections are delivered directly to every one of the 8,000 jukeboxes on the Ecast broadband network, eliminating the need for time-consuming research or jukebox programming while increasing operator revenue during the festive, bar-going season.

Ecast “Holiday Classics” is a traditional collection of both vocal and orchestral must-haves. Patrons will find artists from Bing to Beyoncé singing seasonal favorites such as “Silent Night,” “Jingle Bells,” and “Let It Snow.”   “Not So Silent Night” is an off-beat mix of humorous and unusual seasonal favorites including hits such as “Grandma Got Run Over by a Reindeer” by Dr. Elmo and Boris Karloff’s “The Grinch Who Stole Christmas.

“We know patrons are willing to pay more for fresh content – and that’s even more true after a few eggnogs!” said Craig Stokes, product manager, Ecast. “By automatically providing patrons new content, our always on broadband network gives operators a huge advantage in terms of both time and money.”
