ECAST, INC.
U2’S NEW COMPILATION ALBUM U218 SINGLES
GOES LIVE ON THE ECAST NETWORK
|
U2 is one of the most successful bands of all time
SAN FRANCISCO – It was a “Beautiful Day” when Ecast featured U2’s recently released and much publicized compilation album, U218 Singles on its nationwide network of over 8,000 broadband touchscreen jukeboxes.
The network’s featured album went live on Wednesday, December 13, 2006. At the same time, U2’s new hit single with Green Day, “The Saints are Coming,” was included as part of Ecast’s Heat Seeking Singles, one of its Hot Hits categories that help direct patrons to more music.
U2 is one of the most successful bands of all time, with more than 22 GRAMMY Awards and six number one albums in the United States alone. U218 Singles is sure to get heavy patron play with its list of U2 blockbuster hits from "New Year's Day" and "Vertigo" to "Sometimes You Can't Make It on Your Own," Ecast’s ability to make this album automatically available on its entire broadband network is great for patrons – and by extension Ecast operators, who will benefit from the additional plays.
