ECAST-POWERED JUKEBOXES FEATURE LATEST FROM

FALL OUT BOY, NORAH JONES, MODEST MOUSE AND JACK INGRAM

SAN FRANCISCO – – Smash albums and singles from artists including Fall Out Boy, Norah Jones, Modest Mouse and Jack Ingram appeared automatically today on jukeboxes across Ecast’s 10,000-plus nationwide broadband music network. The new genre-spanning additions provide something for all tastes. To assist patrons in search of hit tracks, singles from these new releases are also highlighted in Ecast’s unique Hot Hits music recommendation feature.

For this week’s coveted featured album spot, Ecast music programming staff struggled in their selection, debating between two albums whose popularity is reflected by their top two positions on sites such as Rhapsody. The crown went to alternative rock band Fall Out Boy and their latest album Infinity on High. The lead single, titled "This Ain't a Scene, It's an Arms Race", debuted at the 2006 American Music Awards and  entered the US Hot 100 at number two and the US Pop 100 at number one.

Losing the highly prized spot of featured album, but also added to the Ecast Network today, is Not Too Late, the chart busting release from six-time Grammy award-winning jazz and pop singer Norah Jones. Sure to get play, Not Too Late is the most pre-ordered album of all time on Amazon.com and is currently number two on the iTunes list of top downloaded albums.

Among other notable singles and albums added to the Ecast Network today is the Modest Mouse single “Dashboard,” which also recently topped the iTunes top downloaded list. The single is an early peek at the band’s new sound since legendary Smiths guitarist Johnny Marr joined the alternative band. The album We Were Dead Before the Ship Even Sank is slated for street release on March 20.

Both country and rock fans will be pleased to find Jack Ingram’s version of the smash hit “Lips of an Angel” by the rock group Hinder. Punk classic debut album from Social Distortion, Mommy’s Little Monster, will keep old-school punk rockers partying all night long, singing along to their favorite classics.
