ECAST LEVERAGES NEW AT&T DEAL TO PROVIDE DISCOUNTED BROADBAND SERVICE FOR NATIONWIDE MUSIC NETWORK

Second Headline

SAN FRANCISCO, - Ecast, an entertainment company operating the largest broadband touchscreen media network in the United States, has inked a national service pact with AT&T to provide Ecast operators with standardized DSL service at discounted prices.

The agreement with AT&T creates a standard DSL connectivity package for Ecast operators at the rate of $39.95 a month, a significant discount compared to the patchwork of previous prices charged by various carriers. Ecast further eases the financial burden by subsidizing the connectivity costs by 50 percent, making the total cost only $19.97.

"As the only 100 percent broadband network, we've always offered the best connectivity programs," said Steven Kellam, vice president of network sales, Ecast. "With our AT&T partnership, they just got better. Now our broadband network provides the richest interactive music experience and highest level of technical support in the industry."

Ecast also offers the "Pro Install Service Plan" that provides an on-site AT&T technician to handle DSL installations at customer venues. Available for $49.95, it is further discounted by Ecast to just $24.97 per month, meaning that for an additional $5 on top of the standard connectivity price, an operator can get the benefit of a no-hassle installation using the quality assurance of an AT&T on-site service technician. If Ecast operators wish, they can also opt to use existing broadband service in customer buildings and receive a credit from Ecast.
