ECAST-POWERED JUKES FEATURE BRAND NEW ALBUM FROM GRAMMY AWARD WINNER TIM Mc GRAW

Fresh sounds from Jack Ingram, J-Lo, Neil Young and Brad Paisley are also among this week’s additions to the Ecast broadband network

SAN FRANCISCO – March 28, 2007 –   Only one day after street release, Let It Go, the brand new album from country singerTim McGraw, is available today on jukeboxes across Ecast’s 10,000-plus nationwide broadband music network. Enjoying status as this week’s featured album, McGraw’s highly anticipated new release is part of a one-year renewal deal with country record label Curb Records. Also appearing one day after street release is Jennifer Lopez’s first full Spanish-language album, titled Como Ama Una Mujer (Spanish for “how to love a woman”).

While the CDs are still sitting at stores, crisp with shrink wrap and awaiting purchase, this first studio album from McGraw in two years is available for Ecast patrons to enjoy. If previous figures are any indication, Let It Go should see healthy patron play.

As of 2006, McGraw has had nine consecutive albums debut at Number 1 on the Billboard Country Albums Chart. Additionally, he has sold a combined 34 million records, with 26 of his singles reaching Number 1 on the Billboard Hot Country 100 chart. His Soul2Soul II tour with wife Faith Hill that same year became the highest-grossing tour in country music history, and ranked as one of the top five in all genres of music.

The renewed deal with Curb Records signals the label’s satisfaction with Ecast as a promotional partner. Curb reportedly has approximately 15% of America's country music market and contracts with such highly popular artists such as Rodney Atkins, Sawyer Brown, LeAnn Rimes, Hank Williams Jr., Hank Williams III and Jo Dee Messina...

The Ecast weekly scheduled music release for this week also includes a choice mix of sounds from additional genres and other country favorites. Among this week’ highlights are:

  • Classic rock: Neil Young’s album Live at Massey Hall features live solo and acoustic performances by Young during his Journey Through the Past solo tour in 1971. It reached #6 in the US Billboard Album charts in its first week of release;
  • Latin/urban: Jennifer Lopez’s first Spanish-language album Como Ama Una Mujer, includes the lead single “Qué Hiciste”;
  • Country: Brad Paisley’s hot new single “Tick”;
  • Country: Jack Ingram’s album This Is It.
