Nationwide broadband network selectively delivers content and promotional art to nationwide locations, allowing simultaneous promotion of multiple artists SAN FRANCISCO – Today as part of its weekly music update, Ecast is “Ecast broadband capabilities allow us to simultaneously promote different artists from different genres while effortlessly ensuring only the right one appears at any given location,” said Ken Feehan, director of jukebox and network product marketing, Ecast. “We can move a massive amount of information and be very specific about where that information goes. Selling nearly 15 million copies, the self-titled album earned the band their third Grammy Award and went to #1 on the Billboard charts, with many of its singles also hitting the US top 10. Many consider the album the band’s high-water mark, deftly incorporating their heavier and rawer past into a slicker and more commercial package. Ecast music experts then turned the spotlight on Arctic Monkeys and their hotly anticipated second album, Favorite Worst Nightmare. Heralded as one of the first acts to come to the public attention because of the Internet, Artic Monkeys are a digital music success story of the 21st century. Their debut album Whatever People Say I Am, That's What I'm Not became the fastest-selling debut album in British music history and the second fastest selling debut for an Indie album in the US. The band went on to much critical acclaim, picking up numerous prizes including “Best British Band" and "Best British Album" at the 2007 BRIT Awards.
