ECAST PREPARES FOR PEAK PLAYS WITH THIS WEEK’S HOT NEW MUSIC RELEASES

A choice pre-release plus smoking hot singles will have the juke joints jumpin’

SAN FRANCISCO – Today’s regularly scheduled additions of new music to the Ecast Network are as hot as the weather in San Francisco this week. A collection of singles and albums from top-tier rock artists is geared at the majority of today’s location patrons, almost guaranteeing increased play across Ecast’s nationwide network of 10,000 locations.

First up is a pre-release of Sky Blue Sky, the highly anticipated new album by the Grammy award-winning band Wilco. While the rest of the world will be chomping at the bit to buy Sky Blue Sky in stores on May 15th and pre-orders are pouring in to online music outlets, Ecast has made the album available to patrons six days before its street release. Given Wilco’s massive cross-over appeal, this album is going to be a real crowd pleaser. A video attract loop lets Ecast patrons know it’s ready for play at their favorite locations.

Play Perfect Additions to the Ecast Network today:

  • “What I’ve Done,” the new single from multi-platinum nu-metal band Linkin Park, is currently iTunes’ #1 rock download.
  • “Icky Thump,” the new single from garage rock revival band White Stripes, is ranked #2 on iTunes alternative rock downloads.

  • Volta, the latest album from trip hop diva Bjork, has captured the attention of digital music audiences, ranks #2 on iTunes alternative charts.

  • The self-titled album from Rodrigo y Gabriella. While not a chart buster (yet!), the album from the energetic acoustic guitar duo blends the fire of flamenco with the power chords and strains of rock and metal. With a sold-out US tour going on, they are a band worthy of premium plays.
