FIRESTONE FINANCIAL SUPPORTS AAMA’S COIN-OP REHABILITATION FUND
Newton, MA – September
Firestone Financial Corp. is pleased to announce its support of the AAMA’s newly formed Coin-Op Rehabilitation Fund, in response to Hurricane Katrina. This interest-free loan program seeks to give monetary assistance to members of the coin-op amusement industry whose businesses were hurt or destroyed by Hurricane Katrina, so that they may begin to rebuild their companies, and in turn, their lives.
Firestone has donated $10,000 to the fund and volunteered to administer and help create the free loan program. “While we support and have individually made donations to organizations like the Red Cross and Salvation Army, we as a company felt it was critical to direct funds specifically to those that have been affected in our industry, and this Rehabilitation Fund will ensure the focused support.” said Executive Vice President Scott A. Cooper. “We will do every thing that we can to support our customers and others in the industry who have suffered from this terrible disaster”.
