FIRESTONE FINANCIAL

Firestone wants to “Take You Out to the Ball Game”

FIRESTONE FINANCIAL ANNOUNCES “FIRESTONE’S KNOCK YOUR SOX OFF PROMOTION!”

Newton, MA - “Now, financing with Firestone is really a home run,” says Larry Yaffe, Senior Vice President of Sales & Marketing for the 40 year-old equipment financing firm.

Yaffe’s referring to “Firestone’s Knock Your Sox Off Promotion,” Firestone Financial’s program in which customers who finance $10,000* worth of coin-op equipment through a qualified promotion between August and December 2006 will be entered to win a trip for two to Boston -- along with tickets to a 2007 Red Sox game.

Five lucky customers and one guest each will watch the 2004 World Series champions from the comfort of a luxury suite at legendary Fenway Park. The prize also includes roundtrip airfare, and two nights at one of the Boston area’s premier hotels. Firestone is based in Newton, Mass., a little more than a David Ortiz long ball from Boston’s historic Freedom Trail and Fenway.

“During the 3rd and 4th quarters, we have an incredible selection of promotions for coin-op operators that are sure to be a hit,” says Yaffe. “Check our website www.FirestoneFinancial.com.” Visitors can also sign up for an automatic email alert as new promotions are announced.

Yaffe says Firestone can help operators control their own finances: Long-term relationships, a solid reputation and financial strength mean that operators can often line up financing before they place an equipment order.

This can help work the best possible deal. “A good relationship with a finance partner helps you pre-plan purchases as well as repayment to coincide with your cash flow.” Some promotions require no down payment. Others offer below-market interest rates or delayed payment options. “We’re creative and flexible to make deals work and help customers grow their business. We like to think we’re on their team, rather than a faceless creditor.” Yaffe adds that a big promotion like this will especially benefit distributors because of their ability to use these promotions to increase sales and more importantly, get incremental sales.

This special campaign will include direct marketing in the form of baseball cards featuring manufacturers, Firestone Financial employees, and promotional details.

Founded in 1630, Boston has been called "The Hub of the Universe" "The Athens of America" and "Beantown." Winners and their guests will enjoy such historic sites as the USS Constitution (oldest commissioned Navy ship); Paul Revere’s house, Bunker Hill, the Boston Tea Party Ship, Faneuil Hall, and much more. And in case you’ve been living on Mars, the hardest sporting event ticket to get on the planet is for a Red Sox game at Fenway Park. These tickets were scarce even before the Sox won the World Series in 2004 after an 86-year drought!

“To miss out on this opportunity could really be a costly error,” Yaffe smiles.

To receive a pack of baseball cards or for more details on current promotions, please call Firestone Financial at 1.800.851.1001.
