Special thanks and credit goes to the sponsors Green Coin Machine Distributing and Rosemary Coin Machines of Myrtle Beach and Shelti
Myrtle Beach, SC – Excitement filled the air as amateur players from North Carolina and South Carolina assembled in the majestic Grand Dunes ballroom to kick-off this year’s, 6th annual VNEA Carolina State 8-Ball Championship. A total of 34 teams and countless individuals traveling as far away as western North Carolina competed against each other to earn the glory of being the best in their class and bringing home a coveted first place trophy. Players weren’t the only winners however. Much to their delight, this year’s turn-out greatly surpassed the organizer’s expectations and talk has already begun of increasing the number of tables and adding a long awaited Scotch Doubles class for next year. Special thanks and credit goes to the sponsors Green Coin Machine Distributing and Rosemary Coin Machines of Myrtle Beach and Shelti who graciously provided the tables and accessories, Phil Whittaker of Rosemary Coin, tournament director, Scott Peterson of Shelti, assistant director and volunteers Jackie Livingston and Robin Minnick for keeping things rolling smoothly all weekend.
