IAAPA International Association of Amusement Parks and Attractions

Be the Star Attraction

NEW PRODUCTS ON EXHIBIT BRIGHTEN IAAPA ATTRACTIONS EXPO 2005

The world's theme park capital is preparing to welcome an anticipated 28,000 attendees at IAAPA Attractions Expo 2005 Annual Conference and Trade Show, the $29 billion global amusement industry's largest annual gathering, hosted by the International Association of Amusement Parks and Attractions (IAAPA).

Approximately 1,100 exhibitors from around the world will feature everything and anything a theme park, aquarium, water park, family entertainment center, zoo or other attraction might need for the 2006 season. Showcased products include full-size theme park rides, new foods, and high-tech gadgets and more.

Among the new products buyers and attendees will find are:

  • SlamBot! by MorrowBotics: a physical game based loosely on the sport of Robot Fighting.
  • CineBox by Open Air Cinema: an outdoor cinema system that allows anyone to produce small-scale outdoor movies.
  • ProSlide Rockets by ProSlide Technology: the only high-capacity three passenger up-hill water ride.
  • The Spudmaster by Spudmaster...home of the Tasty Tates: a food and beverage producer of the colossal chip.
  • Salsa in a Pouch by Tuxedo Chili's: a single-serving of salsa for consumers that enjoy salsa at any time.
  • Screen Yo Body's sun protection provided in 10 seconds by climbing into a booth that sprays sun block.
  • Rapid River Splash ride by ABC Rides Switzerland: A new water ride featuring a vertical rotating lift.
  • 4-D Theater by 3DBA (3D Branded Attractions): affordable theater packages for 4D attractions.
  • Chameleon Paradize game and Ticket Trooper game by Bay Tex Games: two new games, one interactive and the other coin-operated, with very different themes about a paradise location and policing.
  • 3D Stereo Portraits by InSpeck: new portraits that seem to “jump out” of the picture frame.

IAAPA attendees will also experience tours of CNN Atlanta, Stone Mountain, America's Mart, and Six Flags Over Georgia. Georgia Aquarium benefactor, Bernie Marcus, will give the keynote address at the Annual General Managers and Owners Breakfast. IAAPA is the largest international trade association for permanently-situated amusement facilities worldwide. For more information visit www.iaapaorlando.com or www.iaapa.org.
