All customers free to use or otherwise dispose of the bill validators in the U.S. A settlement agreement was entered between International Currency Technologies and MEI to end patent litigation.International Currency Technologies Corporation and International Currency Technologies, Inc.(collectively, “ICT”)and West Chester, Pennsylvania and Fremont, California(March, 2006)Mars, Incorporated and Mars Electronics International, Inc., (collectively, “MEI”), have ended a patent dispute in U.S. District Court for District of Delaware(civil action No. 05-239 SLR), in which MEI alleged that certain ICT bill validators infringed Mars’ U.S. Patent No. 5,632,367(hereinafter, “the 367 patent”). ICT and MEI have executed a mutual settlement agreement, in which the parties have dismissed all claims and counterclaims in the litigation without prejudice, and each party bears its own attorneys’ fees and court costs.
