Golden Tee Tournaments Now Truly a Worldwide Event
Players from 2 Continents and 3 Countries Compete in Real-Time
Time Zones and Currency Conversion Problems Solved

(Arlington Heights, IL – September 29, 2005) Golden Tee LIVE, and its revolutionary Play for Prizes contests, is the first coin-op game to successfully conduct real-time tournaments on multiple continents. Today when U.K. players were added to Golden Tee LIVE’s online network, they made history as they joined players in the U.S. and Canada in the same contest. It’s anticipated that players in Australia, New Zealand and South Africa will also join the tournament network in the weeks to come.

According to Kevin Weir of Electro-coin, Ltd. in London, the U.K. players can’t wait to face off against the Americans and Canadians. “The anticipation has been building here, particularly since the launch coincides with the European Finals for the World Championship,” he said. “Our players love the ability to test their skills against players from around the world.”

Davy Reid of Paisley, Renfrewshire, Scotland, a 2-time member of the world team, echoed Weir’s sentiments saying that international tournaments are fantastic. “I’ve had the honor of playing against the best that America can offer at the World’s, “ he said. “And this is the next best thing. Now we can take each other’s money from thousands of miles away!”

Reigning Golden Tee world champion, Jeff Harlow of St. Louis, had this to say about the new tournament structure. “It was exciting when Canada came aboard the Prize Play contests,” he said, “and now it will be very cool to see names from the U.K. There are some strong players across the pond and I am sure they’ll fit right in our contests. Those guys can shoot!”

"Prize Play is great,” said Anthony Goertz of Kitchener, Ontario, Canada, a 3-time member of the world team. “It will be nice to see U.K. names on the leaderboards, and more players is good for everybody. It means the best players aren't always playing against the best and the worst players aren't always playing the best either. With more guys coming aboard it will make it even more exciting for us."
