Incredible Technologies, Inc. Golden Tee LIVE Regional Championships Shattering Records

Over 1,300 video golfers have played more than 100,000 games of Golden Tee LIVE just to qualify for this historic event

Arlington Heights, IL - With two months of online qualifying in the books, the Golden Tee LIVE Regional Championships (GTLRC) is living up to its billing as the “Largest Golden Tee Tournament in History”!

Over 1,300 video golfers have played more than 100,000 games of Golden Tee LIVE just to qualify for this historic event - a series of four Golden Tee LIVE tournaments that include a two-month online qualification period and a live final in four U.S. geographic regions.

Nearly 1,000 Qualify for Midwest Final
Qualification kicked-off in the Midwest on June 1 and ran through the end of July with a staggering 905 players completing the 50-games required to compete in the live regional – for over $25,000 in cash and prizes – at Harrah’s Casino in Joliet, Illinois on September 1-2.

Scott Morrison, Marketing VP and executive director of the GTLRC, says that the Midwest final will be the most ambitious Golden Tee tournament ever. “We wanted to start off with a bang and the Midwest Regional is providing us just that. With qualifying in the region held during the traditional ‘slow summer months’ of coin-op, we’re extremely pleased to report that play and earnings were stronger than ever! Hundreds of qualifiers are going to compete in the Midwest Open – new and old players alike. We plan on having 50 machines on-hand at the final and a staff prepared to handle an unprecedented number of players. It’s going to shatter our own tournament attendance records, proving that the excitement surrounding Golden Tee is stronger than ever.”

Nearly 400 Already Qualified in the West
Qualification for the Western Regional began on July 1 and in just over 5 weeks nearly 400 qualifiers have made the cut. The West makes up the largest GTLRC region, including every Golden Tee LIVE game from North Dakota to Washington and California to Nebraska. With just under one month left to qualify, IT expects hundreds of additional players to step up to the trackball in the Western states and make the leaderboard before the deadline on August 31.

The live Western Regional finals will be held at the Las Vegas Riviera Hotel and Casino in conjunction with the AMOA Show on September 29-30. Southern Regional Qualifying Underway Now
August 1 marked the beginning of online qualifying for Region 3 in the South. The South is comprised of some of Golden Tee’s most accomplished players and enthusiastic fans. Southern Regional states start at Kentucky and include Texas to the west, Florida to the south and up to North Carolina. Qualification runs until September 30 with a live final at the Grand Casino Resort in Tunica, Mississippi on October 20-21.

“The South has always been a hotbed for Golden Tee,” said Morrison about the region. “Preliminary numbers are showing that Regional 3 will be one of the strongest and we encourage southern operators to promote the event and maximize their potential earnings through September.”

Eastern Regional Qualifying Begins September 1
Online qualifying for the final regional in the East will begin on September 1. Nearly 1,500 Golden Tee LIVE games from Michigan to Maine will be part of the GTLRC’s last round with a live final scheduled at the beautiful Turning Stone Resort and Casino in Verona (near Syracuse), New York on November 17-18. Promotional materials for this event will ship soon and Eastern Regional operators can look forward to accelerated earnings throughout the months of September and October.
