Texan Corrals Mustang as Players Defy Odds to Win Arlington Heights, IL - In the Silver Strike Bowler’s Club sweepstakes players have the chance to win huge prizes by simply identifying themselves when they play the game.
Because so many people enter the sweepstakes, they don’t necessarily expect to win, yet it seems that whenever someone does – they had a premonition it would happen! Maybe it’s tuning in to something cosmic. Maybe it’s just coincidence. But many winners report that they had a “feeling” their name would be picked. Mike Kelley from Cypress, Texas was among those winners who just “felt something.” "I was messing with my friends and joking about how crazy it would be if I won the car," recalls the 46-year-old sheet metal fabricator. On May 25, Kelley found himself watching the Silver Strike Bowler's Club sweepstakes countdown clock with his wife and friends at Uncle Albert’s in Cypress. Though he had never watched the countdown before, all his friends were anxious to see who won the 2007 Mustang – Kelley and his wife, Cindy, play the game every Friday night and he had accumulated 167 entries for the May drawing, but since there were over 1.5 million entries he honestly didn't think he had a shot. Then his name popped up on the screen! "It's just incredible," Kelley said. "I've never won anything before." On June 19 that all changed. In front of friends and family at Uncle Albert's, Kelley was handed the keys to a brand-new 2007 Mustang that he picked out from Mac Haik Ford in Houston – black with matching black leather and a powerful V-6 engine. A true dream car. The winning SSBC machine is owned by Houston-based operator R & M Vending. Owners Robert and Marie McGowan were on-hand for the event and were thrilled that Kelley had won the sweepstakes on one of their games. "It’s great to see someone win a big prize like a Mustang on one of our machines," Robert McGowan commented. "We have a group of people who are dedicated to the game and keep coming back. Hopefully this will encourage more people to play and try to win." According to Dan Schrementi, marketing manager at IT, the SSBC sweepstakes is the most cost-efficient way to get online. “Connection fees are only a nickel a game,” he said. “But the benefits of having a winner make the sweepstakes the best value in coin-op. Don’t miss this opportunity to provide your players and locations with the chance to be heroes!” Just click here to see the video of Mike Kelley’s prize presentation. Coming Up – More Huge Prizes! Schrementi went on to say that the prizes for July through December are bigger than ever. “Our July winner gets a Chevy Silverado, August is our World Series trip, September is a great family trip to Walt Disney World, October is every sportsman’s dream: a Bass Pro Shop shopping spree, November is our annual Super Bowl trip and in December we’re giving away our second Harley. That’s almost $100,000 in prizes!” About Silver Strike Bowler’s Club Silver Strike 2007 Bowler’s Club is the latest in a long line of award-winning, coin-operated video bowling games from Incredible Technologies.
