Big UK Presentations for September!

PLASA and LIW Exhibition Out-of-Home Technology Conferences

London, United Kingdom – KWP Limited, confirms its busiest September conference schedule ever, presenting developments in attraction, amusement and leisure (more commonly known as out-of-home leisure entertainment) at the PLASA06 and LIW’06 trade exhibitions. These conferences will range from a panel discussion, technology briefing and executive market briefing.

The KWP operation has already amassed high-profile seminar presentations in previous years, this September the conference schedule reflects the growing popularity of the out-of-home leisure entertainment sphere, along with some of the new trends observed by company founder Kevin Williams.

For the first time KWP will represent the entertainment sector to the premier
Professional Lighting and Sound Association (PLASA) industry gathering. In his session ‘Out-of-Home Leisure Entertainment’, KWP will present a general technical overview of the application of 4D effects theatres and films in the museum, science and entertainment sector. PLASA is a pivotal event in the professional live-entertainment industry calendar, and has invited KWP to offer views on the cross-over of technology from both sectors.

-

KWP will be involved in two sessions at the Leisure Industry Week (LIW)

In the session that will be taking place ‘The Technology Attraction Revolution’; trends in the application of interactive attractions in the international scene will be discussed. KWP will follow this by mediating a panel discussion with the leading European manufacturers in this sector allowing Questions & Answers from the assembled attendees. For the first time a panel session with representatives from companies such as Electrosonic, Simworx, 3DBA, and Kraftwerk.

In a second session running alongside the show, Kevin Williams will wear the hat as the owner of the industry e-Newsletter The Stinger Report and give a hard hitting ‘What’s Hot’ evaluation of the market, looking at developments on the exhibition floor and beyond.

KWP is working hard to present to the industry in general the validity of the ‘Unachievable @ Home’ methodology when applied to the Out-of-Home Leisure Entertainment sector, especially as the family audience returns to the facility sector.
