Bensalem, PA - Merit Entertainment's annual Fall Kickoff TournaMAXX™ tournament had players running toward the end zone with featured Megatouch® games Q-Shot and Take 2.
Both the 1st & 2nd places in the Fall Kickoff Q-Shot tournament went to players on machines operated by Massengill Music Company in Havelock, NC. Christine Roher of Newport, NC took 1st place at Ruby's Sports Bar with a score of 98,680. Second place went to Kay Pabst, with a score of 97,620, who plays at the Crystal Lake Yacht Club. Coming in 3rd was Robert Olding of Sidney, OH. Robert scored 96,940 at the Phoenix Lounge on a touch screen operated by J & S Electronics. Bill Muenz took the single game high score title with 116,900 at the Iron Horse in Erie, PA. The Iron Horse's machine is operated by Warner's Coin Machine Co.
The hi-score Take 2 tournament winner was Frank Yenca of Pittsburgh, PA. Frank plays at Ryan's Pub and Grill where he scored 145,768 on a machine from H. Lazar & Son, Inc. Randy Lueneberg came in a close 2nd with a score of 145,474 on a touch screen from Raleigh Amusements at the AMF South Hills in Cary, NC. In 3rd place was Mary G from York, PA with a score of 145,224. Mary plays at George's Tavern on a machine from Staff Amusements. Joe Andersen got the single game high score in Take 2 with a score of 152,440 at the Sandbar II in Frazee, MI on a machine operated by Games Unlimited/United Games.
The top three prize winners in the Take 2 prize tournament all hail from the Midwest. Jerzy Pado took home a Magnavox 30” Widescreen HDTV with a score of 146,317. Jerzy plays at Paul's Pub in Medina, OH on a machine from Cadillac Music. Second place winner Dennis Petersen also took the single high game score at Howie's Sports in St. Cloud, MN. Dennis scored 151, 255 for his high game and had an average score of 146,203 to win a $400 Best Buy Gift Card. He plays on a touch screen from Midwest Coin Concepts. Jennifer Piazza came in 3rd with a score of 143,692 to take home a Sony Digital 8 Handycam Camcorder. Jennifer plays at the Classic Rock Café in Fairfield, OH on a machine from the Dixie Music Company.
“I have loved playing Megatouch® for quite some time now, however now that the tournaments exist, I am even more excited to play,” said Jennifer Piazza.
