Bensalem, PA - The new Megatouch Nation™ sweepstakes kicked
Entry into the sweepstakes is simple. Players register for Megatouch Nation by purchasing a $4 Megatouch Player Key via the website www.megatouchnation.com, or directly from the machine if it is connected to Merit's server through MegaNet. The keys are for use with the new Ion games, and they unlock access to the Megatouch Nation game of the month. Players then try to beat a set score to qualify for the sweepstakes.
“My children are going to have a great Christmas,” an excited Tami Guthrie said about the $4,000 prize. Tami qualified for the prize by getting her Megatouch Player Key and topping a score of 530,000 in Boxxi.
“Almost every time my husband and I go out we play Megatouch®. So, when he told me about this new contest, I just had to enter,” Tami said, still thrilled about her windfall. “We already enter all the Tournamaxx™ tournaments we can, so it was exciting to have another chance to win big... I love the tournaments and I love the new machines too!”
Ray Shakelford of Golden Coin Amusements, operator of the Megatouch Ion that Tami qualified on, agreed with her. “We've seen an increase in revenue with the Ions. The color is vivid and great looking, and I think that really just draws the players in.”
Megatouch Nation is available on every Ion, whether it's connected to Merit's server or not. If the Ion is connected to the server, however, players can purchase their Megatouch Player Key simply by inserting money into the Ion at the location.
