She’s been competing in national and local competitions for over a year now, and she had no idea that her $4 purchase of a player key could make her $4,000 richer. But it did.

Megatouch Nation is available on every ION, whether it’s connected to Merit’s server or not. The advantage of being connected, however, is that players can purchase the Player Key simply by inserting money into the ION at the location. Lee Ann purchased her key through the ION at Studio Lounge in Lakeland, which is where she works. She said that she plays the ION before and after shifts, and that people in the bar all compete against each other every month, which “inspires camaraderie between the employees and the regulars.” Naturally her big win has created quite a buzz, especially since Mike and Dawn Brower from Merlin Amusements came to the bar with congratulatory gifts for Lee Ann in the form of flowers and balloons. “This promotion gives us the opportunity to not only encourage additional play by our regulars, but to cultivate new players, too,” explained Dawn Brower of Merlin Amusements. “When we arrived with flowers & balloons and made the announcement that she had won, many of the patrons in the bar asked how she did it. They wanted to know how they could have a chance to win next time.
