MERIT ENTERTAINMENT

Another Winner Joins the Megatouch Nation

Merit products and tournaments, especially the new ION, always add more excitement.

Bensalem, Penn. – “I’m still having a hard time believing that I won $4,000!” This was the sentiment expressed by Vernon P. Bolle of St. Paul, Minn. Bolle recently walked away from Merit Entertainment’s April Megatouch Nation™ Sweepstakes with some extra cash in his pocket - $4,000 extra to be precise.

Bolle said that he heard about the Megatouch Nation Sweepstakes and “I just had to go out and get a player key so I could enter.” Player keys cost $4 and can be purchased at any ION™ that’s connected to Merit’s server through MegaNet. If the ION is not connected to the server, a player key can be purchased at www.megatouchnation.com.

The player key makes it faster and easier for players to log in at ION games. The player simply swipes their key at the machine and that’s it, they’re logged in. Doing this also grants access to the Megatouch Nation Game of the Month, which was Monster Madness™ in April. Every time a player tops a certain set score in the Game of the Month, they automatically receive an entry into the sweepstakes. The more a player plays, the more times they can be automatically entered.

After all the qualifying entries are received, Merit selects a prize winner at random. A new winner is selected every month, and only those players entered within the current month are eligible for the drawing.

Bolle got his winning entry on an ION at Beerbelly’s in Oakdale, Minn., which is operated by Superior Vending in Inver Grove Heights, Minn. Superior’s Kris Boettcher said, “Merit products and tournaments, especially the new ION, always add more excitement. They provide locations with great entertainment value.” He went on to say that Superior has always had great success with Merit’s TournaMAXX™ tournaments, and that this success will only be enhanced by Megatouch Nation. “Competition is very fierce, and players are coming to locations just to play Merit’s games.”

Bob Mills, Merit’s Vice President, North American Sales, agreed by saying, “Players are really excited about the possibility of winning $4,000 just by simply playing Megatouch. Someone wins each and every month, which adds to the buzz. It’s certainly something that should be on your route.”

For more than 27 years, Merit has ensured long-term return on investment for operators by providing continually high-earning equipment along with updates and upgrades for its products. With an installed base of over 250,000 touch-screen games garnering nearly 4.6 billion plays per year, Merit Entertainment is the worldwide leader in touch-screen entertainment devices. Merit Entertainment products appear globally in a wide array of venues and appeal to an almost limitless demographic. Merit continues to expand its position in the industry with ever-increasing entertainment, music, content, and new games.
