It’s Good in the Fall Kickoff Tournament

These tournaments really get the players into competition with each other.

Bensalem, PA – Merit Entertainment’s annual Fall Kickoff TournaMAXX™ tournament got the cooler weather off to a hot start with the regular & prize Take 2 tournaments.

Ann Peterson of Swanville, MN went all the way to win the regular Take 2 tournament. Ann earned an average score of 145,331 on a Brainerd Amusement machine at the Twelve Mile Tavern. Close behind her was Glen Shepe with 145,316. Glen plays at Menagha Liquor in Menagha, MN on a touchscreen from Northern Amusement. Coming in 3rd was Ted Warrington of Toledo, OH. He played at Amigo’s in Toledo earning a score of 144,759 on a Megatouch from Bremer Vending. The Single Game High Score for the regular Take 2 tournament this month went to Clint Childers of Nimrod, MN. Clint scored 150,510 on a machine operated by Smitty’s Music & Vending at the R&R Bar in Nimrod.

Northern Amusement’s Doug Smart said, “These tournaments really get the players into competition with each other. The bigger the competition, the more the coin-drop.”

Charbell Younes scored big in the Take 2 Prize tournament. Charbell won a 26” Flat-Panel LCD HDTV for her score of 145,317. She plays at Thunder Head Brewing in Kearny, NE, which is operated by Big Money Coin Op. Coming in 2nd, and taking home a Sony DVD Camcorder, was Greg Vedder of Forest Lake, MN. Greg scored 145,158 at the Forest Laker on a touchscreen from Jubilee Music. Rounding out the top three was Molly Pugh with a score of 144,809. For placing 3rd, on a machine operated by Modern Amusements at Johnny C’s in Cockeysville, MD, Molly earned at Home Theater System. The Single Game High Score in the prize tournament comes in from Sacramento, CA. Jennifer Fears scored a whopping 154,970 at the American Spirit, which is operated by Action Promotions, Inc.

Sony DVD Camcorder winner Greg Vedder has been playing in TournaMAXX™ tournaments for “awhile now”, but this is the first time he’s ever won anything. “This is great!” said Greg. “Playing Megatouch is one of my favorite things to do when I’m out with my friends! With the tournament play, I’ve been playing more even if my friends aren’t around. Take 2 is definitely one of my favorite games.”
