National Automatic Merchandising Association (NAMA)

DOZENS OF NEW EXHIBITORS UNVEIL PRODUCTS AT NAMA NATIONAL EXPO:

Look for them in the New Exhibitor, Coffee Service, VENDTec and Foodservice Pavilions

CHICAGO - October 17 - More than 50 new National Automatic Merchandising Association (NAMA) National Expo exhibitors will be unveiling products or services at the industry's largest trade show to be held in Atlanta, Georgia October 27-29 NAMA Director of Trade Shows and Allied Membership Stuart Aizenberg, CEM, announced today. Most of the products will be unveiled in a special New Exhibitor Pavilion where attendees can view a variety of new offerings in one location, including food products, services, security, equipment and more.

In discussing the new National Expo exhibitors Aizenberg said, ”Attendees have told us repeatedly that the number one reason they come to shows to see what is new.  The creation of a New Exhibitor Pavilion groups most of the First Time National Expo Exhibitors into a single area of the floor to make it easy for attendees to find them.  But attendees should keep in mind too that some of these first time national exhibitors will be located in the coffee service, foodservice or the VENDTec pavilions instead because those locations better suited the products/services they will be showing.”

The First Time National Expo Exhibitors will be showcasing everything from instant ice cream and potato chips to new payment options, coffee pod brewing systems and commercial van equipment. A full list of new exhibitors is attached and a full list of exhibitors can be viewed at www.namaexpo.org.

Each year more than 300 exhibitors and 5,000 attendees worldwide turn out for the NAMA National Expo, which features an impressive array of the industry's newest products and hottest technology, educational sessions and unmatched networking opportunities. This year's Expo includes a variety of new changes and additions designed to match industry trends and deliver powerful benefits and value to everyone participating in the not-to-be missed event of the year.

Aizenberg added, “Returning exhibitors also often have new item, product features or services as well, which means that whatever is “new” on the show floor is not just restricted to the first time exhibitors.  Attendees should go to any booth they are interested in and just ask to see what's new if it is not readily apparent.”

In addition to the New Exhibitor's Pavilion this year's Expo also features a Special Buyer's Corner where attendees can hear from various companies and compare products and services in a variety of categories. The show will still include favorites from past years, including:

  • Coffee Service Pavilion
  • Foodservice and VENDTec Pavilions
  • Route Driver Rodeo - Vending and office coffee service operators showcase operator driving skills and promote safe driving.
  • Silent Auction - Proceeds go to the NAMA Foundation, which funds industry research and scholarships and the Make-A-Wish Foundation® of Georgia and Alabama.
  • Industry Awards Banquet - An elegant “black tie optional” evening to recognize and honor five deserving 2005 Vending and Coffee Services Industry Award winners. The evening includes a reception, dinner and awards ceremony.

To learn more about the Expo visit www.namaexpo.org.

Concluded Aizenberg, “The NAMA National Expo is the industry's most important event because it brings together in one place everything a professional in our field needs to succeed. We're excited to have so many first time National Expo exhibitors this year and look forward to seeing everyone in Atlanta.”

NAMA is the national trade association of the food and refreshment vending, coffee service and foodservice management industries including on-site, commissary, catering, & mobile. Its membership is comprised of service companies, equipment manufacturers and suppliers of products and services to operating service companies. The basic mission of the association, to collectively advance and promote the automatic merchandising and coffee service industries, still guides NAMA today as it did in 1936, the year of the organization's founding.
