NAMA National Automatic Merchandising Association

DEC. 31st DEADLINE FAST APPROACHING FOR NAMA OPERATOR MEMBER RENEWAL CAMPAIGN

Last Chance to Save 2.5% on Dues, Win Fully Stocked Snapple Vending Machine

CHICAGO, IL - The deadline is fast approaching for National Automatic Merchandising Association (NAMA) operator members to send back renewal packages for a chance to win a fully stocked Snapple vending machine worth $2,300 and save 2.5 percent on dues, NAMA Vice President of Membership and Coffee Service Dean Gilland announced today.

Drawings for a variety of other valuable prizes have already been held but all members who renew their dues by Dec. 31, 2005, are eligible for the Grand Prize Snapple vending machine.

“Operator members who renew early save NAMA and its membership time and money - everything from administrative costs to extra postage -- which is why we want to reward them with these incentives,” Gilland said. Drawings for other prizes were held Nov. 7 and Dec. 5. The Grand Prize drawing will be held Jan. 16, 2006. On behalf of everyone we certainly want to thank our very generous supplier members who have made this contest possible.”

Gifts and winners from the Nov. 7 and Dec. 5 drawings are as follows:

  • Sugar Foods Coffee Service Package worth $495: Nov. 7, William Russell of Canteen Service of Steel Valley, Inc; Dec. 7, Donna Pitts of Veterans Canteen Service.
  • Sugar Foods Vending Package worth $508: Nov. 7, Marie Welsh of Arizona Services; Dec. 7, Chris Watson of Automatic Refreshments.
  • Grindmaster PourOver Coffee Brewer worth $452-$499: Nov. 7, Steve Adams of Wright State University; Dec. 7, Bob Minaglia of Rainbow Refreshments, Inc.
  • Everpure Home Filtering System worth $250: Nov. 7, Teresa Alcorn of Advanced Vending; Dec. 7, Jo Ann Allan of Allans Vending Service, LLC.
  • Camlock Systems Padlocks worth $220: Nov. 7, William Mandile of Champion Vending, USA Inc.; Dec. 7, Joel Skidmore of J&J Vending.

“The Grand Prize drawing will be held Jan. 16, 2006, and it's a great prize: a new and fully stocked Snapple Vending machine worth $2,300,” said Gilland. Operator members should visit www.vending.org for incentive program details.

NAMA is the national trade association of the food and refreshment vending, coffee service and foodservice management industries including on-site, commissary, catering, & mobile. Its membership is comprised of service companies, equipment manufacturers and suppliers of products and services to operating service companies. The basic mission of the association, to collectively advance and promote the automatic merchandising and coffee service industries, still guides NAMA today as it did in 1936, the year of the organization's founding.
