Students must be a graduating high school senior or student enrolled full-time in a college undergraduate program at an accredited college or university. They also must maintain and verify a cumulative grade point average of at least 2.5 on a 4.0 scale or equivalent. Applicants may reapply each year for as long as they are eligible, but they may only receive one scholarship award.
Applications are due by March 1.The scholarships will be announced at NAMA's Spring Expo which will be held March 23 and 24, in Las Vegas. Application and complete details are available at www.vending.org.
NAMA is the national trade association of the food and refreshment vending, coffee service and foodservice management industries including on-site, commissary, catering, & mobile. Its membership is comprised of service companies, equipment manufacturers and suppliers of products and services to operating service companies. The basic mission of the association, to collectively advance and promote the automatic merchandising and coffee service industries, still guides NAMA today as it did in 1936, the year of the organization's founding. |

deadline for the 2006 National Automatic Merchandising Association (NAMA) Foundation Scholarship Program, is fast approaching NAMA President and CEO Richard Geerdes, NCE, announced today. Eleven students will have the opportunity to win a $2,500 scholarship for the 2006-07 school year, he said.
