INTERNATIONAL VENDING LEADERS PLAN FOR THIRD CHINA VENDING SHOW JULY 20-22 Chicago, IL – From around the world leaders in the vending and commercial self-service products industry are preparing for the third annual China International Vending Systems & Commercial Self-Service Products Exhibition to be held in Shanghai July 20-22, 2006. The show will be the third hosted by the People’s Republic of China, and 20,000 professionals from around the world are expected to attend the event to learn more about developments and trends in the industry, explore distribution channels, and better investigate the world-wide market.In discussing the event, show contact Alex Chen said, “While the past two events have been overwhelmingly successful, this year, with the help of NAMA, EVA, JVMA, and other relevant international associations, we will re-integrate new cutting edge resources to forge an entirely new event.” NAMA President and CEO Richard M. Geerdes, NCE, was invited to deliver the keynote address and will discuss the development of the vending industry in the United States. When asked about the show Geerdes said, “We are delighted to be part of the show because it gives us the opportunity to help support the vending industry in China and to reinforce the exchange between our two countries.” While in Shanghai, Geerdes plans to visit major vending manufacturers and operators to share experiences that might help the development of the vending industry in China. Other vending representatives from around the world are expected at the show as well, including representatives from the European Vending Association and a delegation of 15 representatives from Japan including Japan’s Director General of Japan Vending Machine Manufacturer’s Association (JVMA) who will deliver an address on the vending industry in Japan. Worldwide Vending Association CEO Catherine Piana will also be speaking and attending the event as well. The last China vending show attracted renowned exhibitors from around the world, including representatives from the United States, Italy, Japan, Canada, South Korea, Singapore as well as China Hong Kong and Taiwan, to name a few. Some of the companies exhibiting included: FUJI BINGSHAN, MEI, CONLUX, CASHCODE, DIXIE-NARCO, VENDO, AUCMA, NECTA, JCM, ICT, COINCO, VTI, BAIXUE, KOREAN JINGYANG, NANKAI, TIMES ELECTRONICS, HUAXIN, WIN INDUSTRY, MANEA, etc. In addition, Coca-Cola, Pepsi, Nestlé, Beverage Japan Co., Ltd., Metro Operation Corp., China Post, French Delegation, British Delegation, Italian Delegation, and vending operators and industry associations from USA, Middle East, Australia, Japan, South Korea, Russia, and China Taiwan, etc. The show is approved by the Ministry of Commerce of the People’s Republic, and sponsored by the All China Federation of Industry & Commerce, China Tongyuan Corp.
