Vending To Be Featured on Popular The Secret Life Of Series; Network Broadcasts to 85 Million Households CHICAGO, IL – Producers from The Food Network’s popular show “The Secret Life Of” have confirmed that they will be visiting the National Automatic Merchandising Association (NAMA) National Expo in Orlando, NAMA President and CEO Richard M. Geerdes, NCE said today. The network is planning a feature on vending that will include footage from the Expo.In discussing the feature Geerdes said, “We’re thrilled that the Food Network has decided to visit the Expo and feature vending because it will help educate consumers about our industry. Most people have no conception about the advances our industry has made over the past decade or the wide array of products that are available from vending machines today. The Food Network is one of the hottest networks in broadcasting with almost a hundred million viewers who will have the opportunity to see a new side to vending.” Distributed to more than 85 million U.S. households and five million website users, Food Network ranks first among ad-supported cable networks on year-to year subscriber growth and first among food websites. The NAMA National Expo is a “must go” show.
