Cling Stresses Importance of Diet & Physical Activity Chicago IL., - The National Automatic Merchandising Association (NAMA) today unveiled a new workplace machine cling for operators to place on vending machines to remind snackers about the importance of a balanced diet and physical activity, NAMA President & CEO Richard M. Geerdes, NCE announced today. The clings are the latest tool provided through the organization’s Balanced for Life health and wellness initiative and are available to members at NAMA’s cost of $1.50 each.To order the clings members can click on the Operator Toolbox at www.balancedforlife.net, and will find the link under the “Information for Workplaces” tab at the top of the page. Clings can also be ordered by calling Balanced for Life Team Leader Jackie Clark at (301) 987-7113. Members can also send their order to her at jclark26@juno.com. Concluded Geerdes, “These clings are just one of the many tools the campaign has created for our members to share that demonstrate our industry’s commitment to educating people about a balanced diet and physical activity. The organization is the national trade association of the food and refreshment vending, coffee service and foodservice management industries including on-site, commissary, catering, & mobile. Its membership is comprised of service companies, equipment manufacturers and suppliers of products and services to operating service companies. The basic mission of the association, to collectively advance and promote the automatic merchandising and coffee service industries, still guides NAMA today as it did in 1936, the year of the organization’s founding.
